WTF!!!

So that whole ride in the car thing sounded great untill i was put into the travel crate...Then my whole perspective changed.
"Um, Hey Mommy...Maybe a car ride doesnt sound so good today. Can i come back out now?"
Then we went to this place where there were a couple of howling cats. Holly dog were they mad. next thing i knew, i was REALLY sleepy and being put into a HUGE metal cage by my mommy. There was an equally HUGE dog in the cage next to me so i cuddled up to his back that was pressed up against the wall that we were sharing. He was warm...and he was really sleepy too. Something was us...i was for sure of it this time. So, i kissed my mommy on the nose and licked the tear from her cheek. Mommy was sad for some reason, so the kiss i gave her on the nose was to tell her that i still loved her even though i was POSITIVE i was not liking what she had gotten me into.

Next thingk i knew, i was being brought out to my mommy by a lady who held me close and kissed me on the top of my head right before she handed me to my mommy. I felt wired, i couldnt keep my eyes open for more than a couple of seconds. Mommy kissed me on the nose and held me close and wiped what seemed like endless eye boogers off of my face.

The car ride home was REALLY wired. i was so sleepy and out of it and i couldln't keep my eyes open, but at the same time i coudlnt sit or lay down in my crate... so i leaned against the wall of the crate.
and slept... Yes, i fell asleep standing...this is a little embarrasing, so please hold your laughter... This my freinds; is the result of the ultimatley worst day of my life.
I have even had 2 weeble accidnets. Once yesterday in my bed, and a another one today as i was standing.

What is happening to me? Why am i peeing on the carpet again? i was able to use my pee pad correctly twice today...why did i have the accident???

For now, i am resing next to mommy and daddy untill i figure out what this weebling issue is about.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and warm wishes,
Bladder Issues!

Something up...

Daddy has been counting down the days since monday. He keeps telling me that tomorrow is the day...I have no idea what this means. Mommy said that i have 16 more minutes to eat and drink and then at 10pm sharp she is taking my food and water away.

I get to go for a car ride tomorrow morning! i wonder if that is what daddy is talking about. Odd thinkg is that mommy is taking me for the car ride early in the morning.

I dont know whats up, but im starting to feel bitter sweet about it.

Ill let you all know what happens tomorrow, but if any of you have any ideas as to whats up, i would appreciate the heads up!

Trying to unravel the mystery,

Peanutbutter Face Revealed Toothes Problem...

So, while mommy and daddy were laughing their butts off at my peanutbutter face, they decided to take photos...These are the photos and faces that mommy decided that she just HAD to share with all of you. While this is a little embarrasing for me, I hope that you all enjoy these photos as much as my m0mmy & daddy like them.

As a result of mommy taking these photos, mommy noticed that my teethes didnt look right. Do you see what mommy saw???

Mommy said that i have the same problem that hse had when she was a little girl. For some reason, mommy had trouble loosing her baby teethes too and now i am haveing the same problem with my vampire teethes. Do any of you fellow doggy friends have the same problem? If so, what should i have my mommy do? Mommy started calling me shark mouth!
Loving my peanutbutter!

Oh wow, so much has happened!

So much has happened, I’m sorry that I haven’t updated all of you sooner. I will explain everything, but first, I must announce the photo that had the most votes was:

#3 10 votes #2 (4 votes )
#1 (3 votes )
#5 (3 votes )
#6 (3 votes )
#4 (0 votes)

Thank you everyone for participating. In case you were worried about your vote being late, don’t worry about it because I convinced my mommy to accept votes right up until last night so all of your votes were counted!

Ok, now on to more serious business…

For the holidays my daddy took mommy to a store that wraps your gift in little blue boxes with a white silk bow on top. On Tuesday 1/13 mommy got a call that her gift was ready to be picked up. This was very exciting because I got to go with mommy & daddy to the mall that dogs are allowed to go to! There are TONZ of dogs there and most of them were on the smaller size too (under 25 pounds)! Oh my gosh you can’t imagine how many pee-mails I had to read! I was only at the mall for a short period of time, but I got so excited that I pooped right in the middle of the courtyard for everyone to see! Luckily mommy had Kleenex in her purse to clean up my mess, but I could have cared less who saw me; there was more pee-mail for me to read!

By Wednesday afternoon I was coughing and sneezing. By Wednesday night, I had a runny nose, and on Thursday morning I was throwing up a yellow/orange liquid. By noon on Thursday I was at the vets office and I even got to throw up on him (revenge is so sweet)! The vet took me away from my mommy and took me into a back room where he looked down my throat to make sure that nothing was stuck. He gave me a prescription of Clavamox that I have to take twice a day. I don’t like it much, but my sneezing, coughing, and everything else icky has stopped.

Mommy thought it would be fun to bring home a bright colored ball with fuzz on it. She thought that I wouldn’t know what to do with it because is it bigger than my head, but oh boy did I surprise her! Mommy threw that ball and I ran right over to it, picked it up by the fuzz and brought it right back to her! The “tennis ball” is now one of my all time favorite toys to chase! Yesterday I received a package in the mail from Kylie! It was my winners prize for playing her 25 days of Christmas. I got a Nylabone, and a little piggy! YAY, I FINALLY HAVE A PIGGY OF MY VERY OWN! (I’ll explain about the piggy in a minute). There was also a certificate in the package saying that a blanket was donated to Pets in Need on behalf of me! Mommy is buying a little frame and hanging it above my bed! The Nylabone was a confusing concept to grasp, but once I figured it out, there was no stopping me! I chewed, and chewed and chewed, and the bone didn’t change one bit! IT’S A MAGIC BONE! And it will last forever and ever and ever! Oh wow! Kylie, thank you for the magic bone it is so much fun!

Now, about this piggy! My mommy has a stuffie piggy that sits on her bed. Daddy bought it for her a couple of years ago and for some reason, she has become really attached to it. In fact, she has become so attached to it that not even I am allowed to play with it. Believe me, I tried on many occasions to get a little thrashing or nibble in with this piggy and it never works. Not even a game of chase with this precious piggy of my mommy’s. It is the ONLY stuffie in my whole house that I am not allowed to play with! I’ve tried waiting until mommy is asleep and I’ll grab part of her piggy and try to slowly and very carefully pull the piggy away from mommy, but she ALWAYS wakes up and moves it up under a pillow where I can’t reach it.

This is a photo of my mommy’s piggy:And here is a photo of my new piggy that Kylie sent me next to mommy’s piggy. Notice how I am sitting (patiently) behind both of the Piggy’s: Enough of the pictures mom! I'm taking my piggy, play with your own. And here I am taking my piggy away from my mommy! If mommy doesn’t want to share her piggy with me, than I’m not sharing my piggy with mommy! Now give me my piggy! IT’S MY PIGGY!
I love my new toys so much, that sometimes I don’t know which one to play with, so I play with them both together. Puppy Kisses to all of my freinds and appologies for not visiting this last week, I promise i will be around this week to see what all of you are up to.

trying to chew a scratch on the magic bone,

Cast Your Vote!!!

A couple of days ago I hade my mommy post a bunch of photos that she had taken when we first got her camera back. My friends Stanislaw & Big Pupi suggested that my mommy have them enlarged and used as wallpaper. I of course thought this was a great idea, but mommy said it was a little excessive, but did think that it would be a good idea to have one of these photos enlarged and framed so that we can hang it up in the apartment!

So, now I am calling on all of you doggy, kitty, and hammy friends to help me decide which photo I should have my mommy enlarge and have framed. I have had mommy repost the photos that are to be voted on by all of you and they are numbered. Please leave your vote in the comments section!

I will announce the winning photo on Sunday 1/11/09 and will post which picture you all chose would be best for display in my home!
(1)

(2)

(3)

(4)

(5)

(6)

I know that the last two pictures look similar, but they are different (mommy promised).

#1 is my favorite and #3 is my second favorite.

So, tell me friends...which photo should we have enlarged and framed to hang in my house!?

Thanks for casting your vote,

The Kiss...

My Mommy's freind forwarded this to mommy & me and we dicided that we had to share it with all of you becasue it made our hearts melt and mommy's eyes leak; It is called "The Kiss"

THE KISS

She is pregnant; he had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, while he continued to fight the fire.

When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the Charlotte , North Carolina newspaper, noticed her in the distance looking at the fireman.

He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do.

As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies and kissed him just as the photographer snapped this photograph.

Mommy Got Her Camera Back!

Mommy's camera started to act up so she had to send it back to Olympus (for the 2nd time in 8 months). So Daddy and Mommy went camera sutpid. My Mommy took these photos while i was enjoying Mr. Sunbeam.
Mommy couldnt decide which one was her favorite, so she had to post all of them. The camera works better than it did the day that Mommy bought the camera. I'm glad the camera is back so that now i can start blogging again!
Till next time...
Enjoying Mr. sumbeam!

Slipped Into Neutral...

I was supposed to get slipped into neutral tomorrow, but my mommy kept getting this really bad feeling about the whole thing. So she consulted "The Bone Zone" and Mango's Mommy & Rocky's Mommy both told my mommy it would be best to rethink things. So, I would like to thank both Mango & Rocky's Mommy's for helping my mommy make this decision.

As you all know, every time I get my vaccines I have a allergic reaction so i have to be given Benadryl and an additional injection to counter act the reaction(s) that i have to the vaccines. My vet didn’t even talk to my mommy about a $35 blood test to make sure that i am healthy enough on the inside. This $35 blood test ultimately could be a matter of life and death. My mommy just kept feeling more and more that my vet has made too many errors with me already and didn’t feel that he was competent that he would take good care of me during surgery especially with anesthesia and me being only 2.8 pounds.

So, my mommy called my vet and started asking questions such as why she was not told about this blood test and they could not give her a good answer so she told them that they were all a bunch of incompetent fools and cancelled my surgery to get slipped into neutral.

Poppy The Little Blond Chihuahua's mommy was kind enough to refer us to her vet’s office and that is where I will go from now on for all my doctors visits. So, Mommy made an appointment for me to get slipped into neutral on 1/30! The nice lady who answered the phone took the time to answer all of my mommy's questions and was VERY friendly and made my mommy feel comfortable. She took the time to explain to my mommy that they are used to working with small dogs my size and even suggested that my mommy that it was ok for her to wait until the end of the month to see if I gain any more weight. Mommy is just hoping that I don’t go into heat in the next 4 weeks!

So, I’m not thrilled about having to have surgery to get slipped into neutral, but I am happy that my mommy found me a good new vet thanks to the help of Poppy!

Till next time...Enjoying being intact,

Coco - the Princess
