hello friends,

I know i haven't been around lately, but i wanted to give you a quick update on what has been going on.

My auntie Gizelle came back from Kentucky and brought me and my mommyh some wonderful gifts. She brought back special cookies for my birthday party and she brought me a beautiful birthday dress and a bath robe with a ducky on it. Here are pictures of me trying on my birthday party dress.
We have not had my birthday party yet, but we are still planning on doing it. Auntie Gizelle, Juicy Princess and Jazmine came and stayed with me and my sisters for a couple of days and it was a BLAST! It was non stop bitey face, doggy derby and cuddles! After mommy went to sleep i would sneak out of my bed and go jump into auntie Gizelle's bed with Princess and Jazmine... don't tell mom though because i'm not allowed to be on the sofa since the incident that happened on my birthday (i jumped up on the sofa next to mom and lifted my leg on her... don't know why; just seemed like the thing to do at the time)

A lot of things have been going on here at home and mom has been trying to keep herself busy in order to try to keep herself from getting really sad and crying which means that me and my sisters were destined to get a bath. Its ok though because now i have a ducky bath robe! Here are some pictures of me after i took my bath in my new bath robe:I like my robe a lot because it keeps me really cozy. Right after mommy took these pictures i curled up in a ball and fell asleep in my new robe!

Anyway, i just wanted you all to know that me and my sisters are doing ok and that we are very sorry that we have not been around to you bloggy's lately. Mommy is just going through a tough time right now but we are hoping things will perk up soon.

411 on Truffle

Mommy was up with Truffle until 4:30 this morning!

We put an ice pack on the bottom of her crate and her blankie on top of it. at 6:30am this morning Mommy took Truffle to go potty but Truffle just wanted to sleep. So i helped mommy bring her to the kitchen and Truffle went potty. She then turned around and started headed for her crate and mommy grabbed her to take her temperature..Thank goodness it had dropped down to just over 102.5

So mommy went about her way getting ready for this afternoon (she had big plans for me) and after she brushed her teeth and came out of the bathroom, Truffle was not in her crate anymore and she wasn't in the the kitchen or living room either. Mommy was in a total panic asking me "Coco wheres Truffle, Find Truffle" But i was tired from being up with mommy all night playing Nurse so i was kinda confused as to what she was telling me...

"Are you serious mom!? I'm tired and you stress too much""Follow me, I'll show you where she is and you don't have to look far."

Now, for those of you that don't know...what you are about to see is not normally allowed in my house. You see, my bed is just that...MINE. Mommy has trained Truffle and Godiva to not go into my bed. It is where i go when i need to get some quiet time away from the puppies so this was the last place mommy was going to look.

As of right now, Truffle's temperature has stayed normal and she is no longer shaking. She has perked up a little bit but still prefers to stay calm and quiet. Her appetite is back up and she is drinking lots of water. We think that she somehow caught the doggy flu or something.

On another note, I had mentioned in a past blog entry about a bobcat that mommy had as a pet for 18 years and on my special outing i got to meet my grandma and grandpa for the first time! They were really cool and kept giving me cookies kisses and hugs. But in Grandma's office there was a picture of my mommy with Flash (the infamous bobcat) so we took a picture of the photo and here it is...Mommy was in 8th grade when this picture was taken.

Thank you for all your help, prayers, warm wishes and vibes...you really helped my mommy, me and Truffle get through last night. I just hope she perks back up to her normal hyper self soon.

Truffle is really sick...

early this evening Truffle got sick and threw-up all of her doggy dinner. Mommy picked her up and she was shaking horribly and her body was super hot to the touch.

That was 4 hours ago and Truffle is still shaking. Mommy took her temperature (we wont discuss how this was done) and it was 103.8 degrees Fahrenheit. So mommy went to the store and bought infant Tylenol (like the doctor told her to do when i was sick and we gave her the proper amount.

Her ears wont perk up and her tail is glued down. she only walks when she has to and she does it with a moping head like Eore from Winnie The Pooh.

Right now we have already given her a cool bath to bring her temperature down but her body got really warm again so she is wrapped in a towel that is covered in ice packs. She seems to like that ice packs because she wont come out of the towel.

She doesn't seem to mind but mom is totally freaked out and wont let any of us play with her. I have snuck up and given her a couple of Coco kisses though and mommy is OK with that.

Wish us luck because we are really worried about Truffle. I foresee a long sleepless night ahead of us.

It's My Birthday!

Mommy woke me up this morning and told me that it was my Birthday. This kinda confused me because i have never had a birthday before. But then i smelled something really good cooking in the kitchen and mommy told me that daddy was cooking me some scrambled eggs for my birthday breakfast!Still not sure what a birthday is yet but if i get scrambled eggs for breakfast than I'm all for it!

First my daddy let me eat a bowl all by myself with no interruptions (Mommy said that she had to biggafy the first two pictures because she says that my pink tongue is too cute to miss in these pictures)
Then mommy explained to me what a birthday is...and this is what i learned...

Today I turn one year old!

Since my sisters don't know about birthdays yet I decided to share my eggs with them too!Since my auntie Gizelle is visiting relatives in Kentucky, we are not going to have a big party for me this weekend so my party will be next weekend when Auntie Gizelle and my bestest friends Juicy Princess and Jazmine gan play. Mommy was thinking to to ask Auntie Gizelle if we can bring me and my sisters to Auntie's house because she has a fenced in backyard and for the first time ever she will let me run free in the back yard on the lawn! HOW COOL IS THAT!?

So this weekend will be a quiet celebration at home with my sisters, mommy and daddy and all of you!
