Its Halloween Time...

I got to help my mommy and our neighbor Megan carve their pumpkins! It was very interesting and i kept trying to lick the gewy stuff off of her fingers. I even managed to sneek off with a large hunk of the pumpkin that mommy cut out... it tasted really good!

The end result of these pumpkins looked like this:
This is the doggy pumpkin that our neighbor Megan carved because she has a doggy named Domino...
And this is my mommy's pumpkin. It is of a skelaton crawling out of the pumpkin; It even has fingers! Can you see the fingers!?
together the two pumpkins looked like this... Then "Savana" Megan's cat came to see what was going on in the back yard, but she wasn't interested in coming over to my kitchen and chewing on the pumpkin with me, so she went inside her home to play with Domino.
It was about supper time so i kept mommy company in the Kitchen while she cooked and one of her parrots named "Hamlet" hung out with me. He isn't as nice to me as the bigger parrot is, but it was still nice of him to keep mommy and i comany. After all that excitement it was really tired so crawled into my bed because us puppy's need a lot of sleep! Good night everyone and dont forget to get plenty of sleep so that you are well rested for your candy hunt tomorrow! I will make sure that i post pictures of me in my haloween costume!

Dog's Purpose (from a 6-year-old)

Mommy and i got an email from my Aunti Alyssa annd wanted to share these photos as well as the story that came with them. The story is very touching and mommy and i thought that everyone would be moved by it.

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, 'I know why.'

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.

He said, 'People are born so that they can learn how to live a good Life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?' The Six-year-old continued, 'Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

1. When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
2. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
3. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
4. Take naps.
5. Stretch before rising.
6. Run, romp, and play daily.
7. Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
8. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
9. On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
10. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
11. When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
12. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
13. Be loyal.
14. Never pretend to be something you're not.
15. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
16. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply & Speak kindly,

Chasing Toes...

My favorite thing to do is chase mommy toes in the morning while she is getting ready for work. Acutally, i'll chase anyones toes that wiggle ...but mommy's two hurt toes wont wiggle so i though that maybe they hadnt woken up yet..So, i decided to help...So i pounced on them really hard. But they still didnt wake up :(

so now mommy said that toes are off limits and she is going to start putting lemon on her toes so i'll stop trying to bite them. Whats that about?

What A Weekend!

Sorry i havent posted the photos for my Letter "C" project. Mommy broke two of her toes yesterday and even though she has all the photos in her camera she was not able to get them out of the camera and into her computer. As soon as she is able to sit like a normal person with her foot on the ground, she will post the photos.

I thought that playing would fix mommys toes, so i ran really fast and jumpped onto them as hard as i could! But mommy didnt appreciate that. So, while she was sitting on the sofa (my sofa) i stood on my hind legs and ised her toes (the blue ones) as leverage so i could stand longer...she didnt like that either so daddy moved me. then i figured that maybe i should give them a good nibble...surely my sharp puppy teeth would make them want to play. Mommy defanitley didnt like that at all...

So after this all day, i sat down to read your suggestions. First i would like to thank all of you for your support, warm wishes and suggestions to helpmy mommy feel better. One thing that you all said the same was that mommy needed LOTZ of love and cuddles and puppy kisses...So decided to try to be "Nurse Coco" Here is a photo of me trying to help my mommy. These photos were taken by my daddy after he gave my mommy some "happy pills"
Mango Kiddo offered to come over and give my mommy some get wellsoon kisses so i am looking forward to taking notes while Mango Kiddo helpe me help my mommy get better.
Playing Nurse Coco thanks to all of your help,

What a day...

I want to first thank all my furry friends for their love support through my floppy ear issue (which by the way has gotten more floppy) As you all know, these past few days have been very stressful for me trying to figure out why my ear was doing this floppy thing. Sunny & Scooters mommy Jamie said that i may be teething, so my mommy opened up my mouth and sure enough...i have 4 teeth growing in...the ones just behind my long pointy teeth...two on the top and two on the bottom. Mommy said that it is cute...and so do all of you, So thank you for helping me through this...but i still needed a spa treatment from all the stress...So mommy said that she would give me a doggy massage and daddy said that mom should give me a pawdicure too...I wasnt sure what all this ment, but i went with it...
Adn this was the end result of my pawdicure...daddy said that it showes off my pretty little feet...
and then the massage...oh man was that great! My neck...my back...tail...and even my little leggs! I was so relaxed, i almost fell asleep! Here is a photo of me yawning after my massage right before my big stretch!
I was about to crawn into my princess bed and then mommy said that she had something to cheer me up more...I couldnt imagine what it was but she said that it came in the mail... and that i would be very happy!
Of course that sparked my interest...did i uby something on eBay and forget about it? No...was it Coco Cookies? No... And then she showed me the package...
Its from Sherri's Pet Designs! ITS FROM SHERRI'S PET DESIGNS!!! Yay!!!! My outfits! I had totally forgotten! This means that i get to model all of them for you! Here goes nothing! ( i insisted that mom take photos from above so that both my ears were doing the same thing)
This is my Ruby sweater dress. this is one of daddy''s favorites because he said that i look really good in vibrant colors.
This is my SUPER SOFT lavendar sweater. mommy likes this one because on the back woven into the sweater is a loop for my leash so it doubles as a harness...mommy called this my sweater harness for when i get to go on walks.
This is my PINK CAMOFLASHE sweater-dress. mommy thinks that this one is so cute and adorable that she wants one...so i told her to go get her own becaue i dont want mine stretched out! This one is what my mommy calls my pinyata sweater dress. it is probabibly the warmest of them all because it is so thick, but it is EXTRA soft and super fuzzy!

Mom told me that this was the last sweater in the package. Do you see that look on my face??? That is the face of a puppy that thinks that there should be something more in that package...Oh, say like a halloween costume maybe... So i had mom check again and she showed me...there was nothing in the package left...and then she pulled something out from behind her...She was teasingme...IT DID COME!!! IT DID COME!!! My halloween cosutme is here.

So what do you all think? Do you think that i will fool people into thinking im a pumpkin? Thank dogness that tomorrow is Friday...that means mommy and daddy will be home all day for the next 2 days and that always means all day cuddles!

My Ears!!! What Happened To My Ears!?!?

When mommy first brought me home i had cute little floppy ears... Here is a photo taken on 9/8/08 for proof:
By 9/27/08 they were almost up...they were trying to do what chihuahua ears are supposed to do like this:
On 9/29/08 mommy came hoe from work and my ears were EXACTLY where they were supposed to be..Straight up in the air like little sattlelites!
When Mommy came home today from work...she freaked out!!!I mean totally freaked out!!! At first i figured she was just over reacting (cause im such a princess ya know) but then she showed me this photo...
My ears!!! My ears!!! what in the heck is happening to my ears!?!?!?
Why are they going floppy???
Im a good little puppy...i always do my ear exercises to make sure that they keep straight up toned and sexy...so what happened???
Is is because i chew on everything?
I was born on 8/1/08 which makes me somewhere around 11 weeks old if that makes a difference

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY EARS!?!?!?

If any of you fellow doggy bloggers can please explain to me what is happening to my ears, mommy and i would feel much better.

Relatives...They look like me!!!

I have two new friends/relatives named Rambo and Pedro..and guess what...They look like me...they look like me! Can you guess who is who?

Is this beautiful little puppy Rambo or Pedro?

Can you guess who this handsom little man is...Pedro or Rambo?

I would like to thank Rambo for passing me the "Ladybug Hug" Award! Thank you!

I will have my Secretary (aka mom) post some new pix of me ...and there will be plenty more pix of me when my sweaters from Sherri come in the puppy mail from Florida.
