She is able to open her left eye, and is acting very happy and wagging her tail. her appetite is good and while she acts like she is rediscovering how to do things and what things are, she is still potty trained (thank dog for that!)
Coco Bean desperately needed some "mommy & me" time last night. Coco Bean brought me some of her stuffies and played and rolled around and acted goofy. These last few days have taken a lot out of Coco Bean. She has been doing the bad peepee on the carpet, throwing up white stomach foam, decreased appetite, and spending all her time right by Godivas side. Last night was the first time since Friday that Coco Bean actually ate her doggy dinner and played. And while she kept an eye on Godiva she wasn't glued to Godiva's side like she has been.
Truffle on the other hand is still acting oddly. Shes eating (never had a problem with that), but she is being very distant. i have checked to make sure she doesn't have a fever, her poop is good, etc. she just refuses to interact with Godiva like she used to. They used to be inseparable...and not i literally have to PLACE Truffle next to Godiva and tell her "STAY" just to take a picture and as soon as the photo is done, Truffie moves a good 1-2 feet away and just stares at Godiva like Godiva is about to sprout wings and a horn out of her forehead and fly around the room.
all in all, The vet does not know how Godiva survived through Friday night having seizures every 20-30 minutes for 12 hours straight...The vet told me that i must be Godiva's angel and my father told me that i am his hero because i took Godiva in knowing very well that she had medical problems.
Truth be told, I am far from a hero, and i am not an angel either. Its the Houston Pittie Pack Fearless Five Angels, and all of you coming together with your prayers and Power of the Paw that my little peanut made it through this weekend.
With the exception of some minor motor skills that Godiva has not regained, if you didnt know what her weekend had entailed, you would not know anything had happened to her. Its your prayers and Power of the Paw that pulled her through. And for that, i cannot thank you enough.
Lady Godiva is still very attached to me and still wants to be held all the time - but i can totally live with that!

Stopped by to leave some purrs and woofs for Coco, Godiva and Truffle. It must have been scary when Godiva had seizures for hours. Sam gets upset and runs around barking in Buddy's face whenever Buddy has one. So it's no wonder Truffle is nervous around Godiva now.
Wow what a Grrrreat update! Now that really is good news!
Maybe Truffle will come around, she probably smells the medication on Godiva and doesn't care for it.
I sure is happy that life is gettin back to normal for all of you!
woos, Tessa
What wonderful news for you! What a relief!
Poor Godiva! We are glad that they are doing better! We hope Truffel comes around.

Ohhh That is such wonderful news, bless her little heart she is a tuff little cookie. You do not know how much joy this post has bought to us here I am grinning like a mad grinny thing...........lol. I imagine it is the same for pups as it is with children when one of them has been sick the others can either be wary of them or all over them and I guess you have one of each. Given time things will settle down again I am sure. I think you could be right about The Fearless Five keeping a watchful eye on all of us and helping us through our traumatic times with the added bonus of Power of the Paw. I do like to think The Fearless Five are watching over everyone of us humans and fur babes and that thought does give me some comfort.
My Izzy says to send Lady Godiva big snuggles from her.

So very happy to hear more good news about Little Lady Godiva! Oh you all have been through so much.
It's weird how our other pets react to another pet when ill. I guess it is like people. They just don't understand and only want everything to be as it was. Maybe it's because Lady Godiva is not moving or acting herself that Truffle is thinking that is not the friend she knew. Give time and more of the TLC..all will go back to some sort of normalcy and puppy friendship will be back to normal.
Hope you don't mind that I posted about Godiva on my blog today and posted her picture. The other two will come around, they are most likely only reacting to what is going on with Lady Godiva, they can feel the tension and the fear, something like that shakes up their world too. When Tucker first started with his seizures it took him about a week to regain all his motor skills, but he did. Now when he has a seizure he is fully recovered in about 5 minutes and no one could even tell he has just had one. So glad she is doing better!

Oh my Gosh, this is such good news. Poor little Coco Bean worried herself sick and I think Truffle is just scared for her. They will hopefully all settle back down, as she is feeling better. You are a hero and the angels have blessed you all
Keeping you all in our prayers
The silvers and more
Great news!
You know how dogs can sense epilepsy and that's why many of them are service dogs for people with epilepsy to warn them of a coming seizure. Truffle is probably very tuned in and suddenly realizes that something is different about Godiva and she's just not sure what to make of it all yet. Things will work out.
I'm glad that your still doing great, You look so cute on your shots, and so comfortable while sleeping on your bed! :)

oh this has just made my day :) i am beyond happy your little peanut is feeling the betterments. please give her lots of sugars from me. those special toots from my angels worked miracles.woohoo!!
We are so very relieved to hear this good news! We were rooting and praying so hard for Godiva to pull through. We just knows that it was God who was looking over her, knowing that it's not her time yet, she still has plenty of life yet to live!!
And don't worry about Truffle, while Coco dealt with it by mothering Godiva, Truffle, we thinks, is dealing with it in her own way.
