Coco Bean Nose - VetDepot.com

With my sisters and i now living at a new home (yes we moved...and ill give you all the details in another post.) Mommy said that where we live now there are lots of Deer, raccoons, opossum, mountain lions, bobcats, hawks and vultures we need to take a lot of extra precaution...starting with our flea treatment! Apparently iwth all this wildlife around, they have lots of those biting jumpy thingies and something else mommy calls a "deer tick"

Mommy has been looking at a flea treatment called Advantix II
Advantix is supposed to protect my sisters and i against:

TICKS - including Deer ticks (vector of Lyme disease), American dog ticks (vector of Rocky Mountain spotted fever), Brown dog ticks (vector of ehrlichiosis), and Lone Star ticks for up to four weeks

FLEAS - kills 98-100% of the fleas on us within 12 hours and continues to prevent infestations for at least four weeks.

FLEA EGGS - It also kills fleas before they lay eggs

FLEA LARVAE - Larval flea stages in the dog's surroundings are killed following contact with a K9 Advantix II treated dog

MOSQUITOS - Repels and kills mosquitoes for up to four weeks

BITING FLIES - Repels and kills biting flies for up to four weeks

LICE - Repels and kills lice for up to four weeks

this stuff is waterproof and keeps us safe even after our baths for up to one month. Same application as the other flea treatments (between our shoulder blades.

When Vet Depot presented us with the opportunity to try Advantix II their timing couldnt have been any better! For those of you who haven't heard of PetDepot yet, they are an online retailer of discounted pet medications and supplies.

a 6-pack of the Advantix II at our pet store costs $85.99 and at the Vet Depot it only costs us $68.99 which is a $17 savings and we LOVE a savings in our home!

Check it out, let us know if you found your flea treatment and how much of a saving you can get!

Tail Wiggles & puppy Kisses,

Coco The Princess

Fortunately we haven't had to use a flea treatment. A couple of us are very allergic to flea treatments. So our little dog yard that is fenced within the large fenced yard is sprayed every two months by a company using pet-safe treatments (as long as we don't go on it while its wet). So....no fleas or ticks and Mom doesn't have to use any chemicals right on us. Win-Win!
